Kea Trevett To Direct AS YOU LIKE IT

Meet Kea Trevett (she/her), Director of 𝐀𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐈𝐭! Kea is a co-founder of Apocalyptic Artists and has appeared in all of our previous work.

Kea Trevett is a theater practitioner, filmmaker, writer, and educator. As an actor, her NY theatre credits include Roundabout, Classic Stage Company, Lincoln Center, Ars Nova, The Sheen Center, New Georges, The Lark, Page 73, Cherry Lane, and Ensemble Studio Theatre, where she is currently performing in Smart, a new play commissioned by the Sloan Foundation. Regional credits include The St. Louis Shakespeare Festival, and the African tour of Antigone in the World, directed by Gregory Mosher. Her acting work on camera has screened at Sundance, Atlanta Film Festival, Frameline, Chicago Reeling, Outfest and Newfest, and is currently streaming on Netflix, Hulu, Omeleto, and the Short Film Collective. As a writer, Kea has collaborated on projects with theatre artists such as Shayok Misha Chowdhury, her short film about climate change, “All Is Well,” co-written by Taylor Steele and directed by Elaine Del Valle, premiered at New Filmmakers LA in March 2023, and screens at Nevada Women’s Film Festival in Las Vegas in June 2023. Kea is a 2020 Outfest Screenwriting Lab Fellow, and her feature script “The Wedding Date,” co-written by Cody Stickels, is currently being developed by Big Swing Productions. Kea teaches playwriting and performance at Theater For A New Audience and Lincoln Center. She is proud to be a founding member of Apocalyptic Artists.
